Landscapes from the Pacific Northwest tell the story of the Missoula Floods that dramatically changed the landscape during the last ice age. Today, these areas in eastern Washington and the Columbia River Gorge call to people from the all over the world to take in the beauty and bounty this area has to offer. A photographer's paradise to be sure, many galleries and small town boutiques are filled with artist's visions of this awe inspiring region.

The eruption of Litli-Hrutur

The eruption of Litli-Hrutur volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula coincided with our trip to Iceland. I was able to hire a helicopter to take us to the site and wrote a submission article with pictures to Wander Woman travel magazine. The eruption started on July 10th and ended on August 5th.
